List of things I'm excited about:
1.) Wednesday- The Decemberists in concert and the 1 year anniversary of Neil and I.
2.) Halloween costumes-Neil is going to be Tobias Funke and I'm going to be Lindsay Funke . . . from Arrested Development, boo-ya
3.) Spring Break in Chicago- we booked everything last night, YAY!
Things I'm not so excited about:
1.)Social Psychology test Friday
2.) Ten prints due for photo Thursday
3.)work all this weekend at le Gap.

This weekend flew by. Saturday was Cathy's wedding. It was really beautiful and of course I cried my eyes out. Hopefully I'll be getting pictures of that developed soon . . . not of me crying but, well, you know. I thought it was a pretty good time . . . the highlights being: everyone all dressed up and making smores (and katie's mishap where she flicked a melting marshmallow at one of the guests), the kids running around in circles on the dance floor, the best man's speech (insert more crying here), and lots of crazy dancing performed by Neil and myself. Of course, it was very chilly that night . . . so Neil and I kind of skipped out early to drink hot chocolate and cuddle on the sofa while watching Curious George: The Movie.
Sunday morning Chris, Teresa, Neil, and I cleaned up the remnants of the wedding, then Neil and I went to Waffle House for a yummy afternoon breakfast.
Now I have to write a 10 page paper for Wednesday (which I haven't started), along with a presentation and an art task. Oh and I have to develop two rolls of film and print some pictures for tomorrow as well. Yay homework.

I can't sleep. Right now, I just want to go home. I'm in a funk and I need the quiet of Kintnersville to get me to a calm place. Two days until my sister gets married and I can't wait.

Okay, so I really expected today to be a bad day. I woke up to do my homework and didn't have any cigarettes. I drove to class, realized I didn't have any gas, came back to my apartment to grab something to eat and found that I got my period. Then I went to work and felt dead though with a massive headache. Yeah, sounds pretty crappy, HOWEVER, I had a good talk with Neil today, I printed two pictures that I really really like, I got my work schedule for next week and I'm not scheduled for Saturday, and I got my paycheck. So my day was alright I guess.

Thanks mom & dad.
I lost my debit card today and was pretty upset about it because I was looking forward to buying groceries. But then I found out that someone I knew from High school found it at the Gas station where I lost it and called my house so at least someone didn't spend all my money and that's good. And drinks, board games, and Arrested Development with Jakie cheered me up. And a call from Neil also cheered me up so I feel much better about having to cancel my card and wait for a new one and wait to go grocery shopping. That was my day + a four hour nap.
p.s. I miss Neil . . .yeah I know I'm pathetic.

I can't wait for this week to be over . . .if only because it means that its the end of the great money spending period that happens every year when I go back to school. Books, photo supplies, other random art supplies that I need are preventing me from saving any money and to top it all off . . . I'm almost out of groceries too. I'm taking any hours I can get at Gap and covering other people's shifts to help increase my income but even if its a part-time job most of my weekends are spent ringing up customers or doing shipment or folding shirts that I've folded a thousand times and someone messed up a minute before the store closes knowing that they won't buy it. I'm pretty sure Neil thinks I'm crazy or delusional about working this much and trying to do the whole school thing at the same time, but I really, really want to get an apartment next year . . . so I need all the money I can get. Anyway, I miss Teresa and can't wait for Cathy's wedding in October when all us crazy Thomas' will be back in Kintnersville and hopefully I'll have time to visit Teesey down in D.C.
Besides that, things are going pretty well. Its nice living across from Neil, Jake, and Zach. Especially when Neil makes me coffee and Jakie makes his awesome pancakes and cupcakes! And they're good company too haha. Speaking of food I think Wawa is calling my name. Adios Amigos.

So I just had this weird dream where it was move in day at Arcadia, but for some reason I was living with Sarah Deal's roomate Jess (? -I'm really bad with names) and kept putting off moving into manor. Jess was trying to make some kind of vegetarian cake but she messed it up so we had to trash it and some for reason it reminded me that I was supposed to move in on a Monday or Tuesday but it was then Wednesday so I ran all over the place asking people what I should do, but no one really new. Then I woke up I guess.
The real move-in day is a week from now and I can't wait. Summer has been pretty good, but I definitely miss my friends and being at school. Neil and I decided that because I am so fortunate to have a waffle house only 15 minutes away from me that we should have a big trip from school with all of our friends to go there . . .because its awesome. In other news, work is okay, life is decent, and I'm starting to really be concerned with being tired all the time. Unless I'm on vacation I feel like I'm never going to be rested ever again. Its really a difficult task to keep me awake ALL DAY haha. Oh well, hope everyone is doing okay . . . adios amigos.

So I went to Wildwood this past weekend with Neil, it was a lot of fun and relaxing and all those vacation adjectives.
This morning, I got up for work at 5:00 AM and my eyes were burning fiercely and I just wanted to go back to bed (of course) and my dad decides to have the we-have-to-make-a-decision-about-putting-Pusscat-to-sleep talk. I say, "I know," and promptly leave for work. It seems to me that Pusscat is dying but she doesn't seem to be suffering beyond throwing up a lot. She is still affectionate and eats like a fiend . . .and I don't want her to die . . .I've had her since I was ten and she's my Sass-mo.

So I like my job at the horse stables . . . I'm learning quite a bit about horses but still there is so much more I have to learn. The toughest parts of the job are the things like cleaning out lots of horse manure and piss from stall, cleaning water buckets, moving around bales of hay, etc. . . . but its all worth while for the ten minutes I get to help bring in horses from the pastures. Yesterday, I started training at the Gap right after work in the morning. It was basically going from 3 hours of hard labor to 3 hours of standing on my feet and after not doing anything this whole summer my back is definitely feeling it. I'll probably make a doctor appointment tomorrow because this lower back pain things is really pissing me off.
In other news, I recently finished reading The Heart is a Lonely Hunter (read it, its good) and tonight I finished reading Fight Club. I also have one more episode left to watch on season four of '24' (which I'll probably watch after I'm done writing in this thing). Gosh, I've accomplished so much this summer! (sarcasm) Anyway, only a month left until school. . . . can't wait.

Drum roll please. . . . I GOT A JOB. Actually, I got two jobs. . . today. Gap finally called me and verified that indeed they are hiring me . . .now all that stands between me and the green is paperwork and training. WOOT. The other job is just for the summer working at horse stables near my house part-time, but I'm excited even though it'll be hard work.
In other news my attempt at eating healthier has been thwarted by my mom buying me "Party Cake Ice Cream." Its literally confetti cake mixed in with vanilla ice cream. I think I had a heart attack or some essential function in my body stopped when I had a bowl of it.
Teresa's car is leaking some kind of fluid that looks, smells, and feels like oil . . . during our investigation of the car instead of a leaky oil thing we found a petrified bird in the from grate. So this is the way life goes, Teresa's car breaks but on the day that I get a job and only after the long period of time of me doing nothing at all so she's without a car to go to class tomorrow. Fate can be pretty cruel.
Okay, I'm done. I have a lot of things to do before I go to bed early so I can get up at 5:00 am to go to work and clean stables. ADIOS.

So it's my mom's birthday . . . and my parents anniversary. Though I'm still unemployed, things have been good and I have another interview at Gap friday. This past weekend was fun, on Friday Neil, Jake, and I went to play mini golf , Saturday Neil and I went to the Punk Rock Flea Market and that was pretty cool, then with Jake to a party, and then thinking we were exhausted Neil and I went back to his place, but ended up watching Pimp My Ride reruns until 3:00 AM. It was good times. I can't wait for school to start, but at the same time I'm not ready to go back. I still have to get an internship and what not. And I can't believe I'm a senior and how I have to start thinking about Grad school . . . and finally "leaving the nest." To be honest it scares me a bit, but I crave the independence. Oh well, I have a bad habit of thinking of things way ahead of the period when I actually have to deal with them. Anyway, hope all is well with everyone. Adios Amigos.

I'm excited for four main reasons:

2.)I get to see Neil and Final Fantasy this Sunday. Its been too long.
3.)I got my blank tote bags in the mail yesterday and starting putting my vintage iron-ons on them, they're pretty cool I think.
4.)Teresa and I might go see Nick Swardson at the comedy club Helium tomorrow and we also might go to the beach. I hope we do both . . .cause that would be awesome.
That's my life right now. and trying to find an internship for the school year, bleh.

3.)I got my blank tote bags in the mail yesterday and starting putting my vintage iron-ons on them, they're pretty cool I think.
4.)Teresa and I might go see Nick Swardson at the comedy club Helium tomorrow and we also might go to the beach. I hope we do both . . .cause that would be awesome.

Summer: So far, no job. Still looking though. Last weekend was awesome. Friday went out to dinner with Neil & Family then saw X-Men. Saturday, slept quite a bit at Neil's house, had dinner, then we headed out to Lebanon for a family get-together and stayed overnight at a sweet motel (sarcasm). Sunday was lunch at the Golden Corral, which was a mistake and then the family thing. Then we drove to Jackson, NJ stayed over in a hotel, got up early Monday and went to Six Flags. It was good times all around.
So I'm taking Biology 101 at Bucks COunty Community College, it's pretty easy and I got an 86 on our first test. Boo-ya! My favorite part of the class though is this woman who has an eye-patch.
Example: Before our Microscope lab where we used the kind with two eye thingies.
My teacher: Now, we always use two eyes when looking into the microscope! (points at the one-eyed lady) Well, except for you.
and then yesterday she had on a t-shirt with a cartoon winking one eye and pointing at another cartoon saying, "I've got my eye on you!"
and she brought really good cookies to class too.
Well nothing else is new except that I have bronchitis or at least I think I do . . . and it sucks a lot. Hope everyone else is having a swell summer.

I finished my photo final, (14 pictures woo!), now only 3 papers, 4 final exams, and a final critique left until I'm done with this semester! This is going to be a rough week, but I'll be done by Friday and I'm not going home until Tuesday so it'll be nice and relaxing good times for the weekend etc. This weekend was pretty nice; it involved lots of sleeping and seeing Battle Royal 2 which was one of the most ridiculous movies I've ever seen. Well I definitely have to clean my apartment now, it looks like a hurricane hit it and it smells a bit sour, ewww. Adios Amigos.
